@popey I use that messages app for texting and FOR THE LIFE OF ME I cannot text a picture out.. It tries and tries and then fails. :( . I don't know if its because of my low signal or if its because it's not the built in texting app?I even went outside and it still failed!@Tracfone

@SArchonedd this pretty much should show my rejection to modern technology. If there were more available and cheaper price I would gladly get another TracFone equal to the remade Nokia brick just with wifi modern networking support and sd card slot with MP3 player.

@USEmCee When my now almost 21 year old son was about 15 for punishment we switched out his iPhone with an old school flip tracfone. He was horrified and embarrassed when he used it. Mysteriously it was broken.

@Tracfone I've already been on the phone with them, for hours. Tons of transfers, currently on the phone with the highest level support. It's a TracFone branded device with a brand new SIM. It should work.

What is up with @Tracfone lately? Bought a SIM card, and it won't get a phone number. I've been assigned 4 or 5 different phone numbers, talked to who knows how many techs, nothing works. Honestly about to do a chargeback. Even corporate support can't activate my phone.

@my2cenz @meat_ends @WFLAJB And, like you said, when the AT&T minutes run out, you gotta refill. If you have a cache of refillable Tracfone minute cards that can be activated anywhere from a cheap, disposable $35.00 phone, then yeah, it's gonna be very hard to track you down.

@Ben_Aaronovitch Hey...I'm late to this. But, most of my rural family uses TracFone. It's usually a pay-as-you-go and is reliable. Service in places in WI is spotty. A lot of land and not lots of towers, but, it's not as bad as Vermont or Colorado or anywhere else with more than rolling hills.
